Funded by the Health Research Council of New Zealand the Ngāti Maniapoto Marae PACT Trust is undertaking a COVID-19 research project under the leadership of Dr. Kahu McClintock.
Kia Kite ai te Ora COVID-19 Life-Changing Research is looking at the impact of COVID-19 on our Ngāti Maniapoto iwi members who experienced COVID-19 between March 2021 and March 2023.
Future focused, the qualitative and quantitative matauranga (knowledge) gathered will provide insight into the experiences of our people and consider a post-COVID-19 environment for the future Health and Social well-being of our Ngāti Maniapoto people.
