Primary Industry L2

This programme is designed for those wanting to enter the agriculture industry at an entry level as farm general hands, fencers, shearers, and junior shepherds.  

A practical course where farming activities support learners to obtain credits toward the NZ Certificate in Primary Industry Skills (Level 2) qualification.  It also provides special benefits in preparing them for direct employment.  

All training is done in field conditions with the tutor, who is a Qualified Industry Assessor.  A hands-on experience in a real workplace is a major feature of this programme.
