E tohu ana te tapa toru i te pakari me te kotahitanga, he mea kapo ake i te ōhākī whakamutunga a te tupuna, a Maniapoto ki tana iwi.
The triangle represents strength and unity and is encapsulated in the words of the dying ancestor Maniapoto to his people.
“Kia mau ki tēnā, kia mau ki te kawau mārō”
“Stick to that, the straight flying Cormorant”
Kei waenganui ko te marae, te uho o te Māoritanga. Ko Ngāti Maniapoto Marae PACT Trust me āna mana hautū te whakatinanatanga o te mahinga tahi hei painga mō te katoa.
And at the centre is the Marae Society which is the very essence of Māori. This is the Logo of the Trust and Board of Trustees, signifying a united group of marae working together for the common good of one another.
